Wine Appreciation 101

Yes. Here is your opportunity to participate in an informal and enjoyable wine tasting and seminar designed to take the mystery out of selecting and enjoying wine. We will learn together about the proper way to taste and evaluate wine, what to look for and expect from each grape variety and what foods generally work well with particular wines. This unpretentious session is designed for a novice who likes wine but would like to gain a basic understanding of the winemaking process and learn more about the main wine growing regions of the world and the type of wines they produce.

The event is going to take place on Saturday February 26th, at 10:00 AM at The Pillar House. The cost is $35 per person. Reservations can be made by calling (617) 969-6500. It just came to my mind that the last time we held this event was during a snowy morning in January. I must say that I was little skeptical about the turn out but virtually all came in and had a great time. This is New England after all.
